Mermaids
Mermaids is a national organisation that supports children and young people up to 20 years old who are transgender and/or gender diverse; their families, and professionals involved in their care.
Trans Active
Trans Active is a local group that aims to help support the trans and non binary community in Sheffield to access sport and exercise in a safe and relaxed environment. Their activities are open to all trans and non-binary people, including those who are questioning their gender identity.
SAYiT
SAYiT is a local charity supporting LGBTQ+ young people under the age of 25 but their youth groups are open to ages 11-25. SAYiT’s groups are for anyone who identifies as LGBTQ+ or are questioning their gender and/or sexuality.
Beaumont Society
The Beaumont Society is a national self help organisation run by and for the transgender community. They welcome all transgender people and their partners at any stage or point in their transition journey.
Galop
Galop is a national LGBT+ anti-violence charity offering advice and support to people who have experienced biphobia, homophobia, transphobia, sexual violence or domestic abuse. They also support lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer people who have had problems with the police or have questions about the criminal justice system.
