Medical Students

Since October 2018 the Practice has helped to train GP Medical Students. Some of our students will be sitting in with our practice GPs and/or nurses, whilst students in their final year of training will consult with patients and then present their findings to a practice GP. You may be offered an appointment with a Medical Student. These appointments will be 30 minutes long in order that our practice GP can spend time with you at the end of the consultation. If you prefer not to see a Medical Student, please let the receptionist know. You will be notified when a Medical Student is sitting in with a GP. Again, please let us know if you do not wish for them to be present. We became a training Practice in 2023 and have trainee GPs at the Practice who may also see patients.
